I had an older non-HD projector before this, and worked it to the bone... so when I switched to the HC1600, it was another world. It has to be the best bang-for-your-buck HD projector out there. It is very quiet, and the color is great, the 'low' lamp mode is slightly less bright, but will extend the life of your lamp by 50% or more; I use it in the 'low' mode. I have it connected to my computer and to my XBOX360 and it works beautifully.

I have never used a projector with higher specs, so I can't compare to anything 'better'. The keystone feature for both left-right and up-down movement is nice so that it does not have to be centered to the desired screen placement. Its bigger than an HDTV you would purchase for the same price, and easier to handle!! I would recommend this projector to anyone who wants to have a home theater in their house.
